Many monsters are able to combo with it, or use it to great effect. It is more reliable as an affliction than Sleep, and it can protect your monsters from being put to sleep. Poison, in my opinion, is the best status affliction. It makes it easy to train monsters later in the game. Eventually you can train up to 16 monsters at the same time. For example, if your starter has its defense fully trained grabbing a shield in the mini-game will then boost its attack or another stat. Once a stat has fully leveled further training in that stat will go towards an unfinished stat. Don’t worry about the mini-game to train. The better the monster, the more training it will require. You will need to use fruits to train monsters to their highest stats. You will get silver, ingredients, and training fruits. Wait until your team cost can keep up! It will go up as your Hero Rank increases. Be careful when evolving monsters! Your team cost may not allow your best monsters to evolve as you go through the story. The campaign is mostly coasting, with a few bumps in difficulty, until you reach the Grand Four. These special rank up events rotate back into the Special Event line-up every month or so. Some special events will also give you massive amounts of XP and Silver. When you rank up enough to afford 25 tickets the Ingredient Missions will give you the most experience points (XP) towards your Hero Rank. Use Tickets to do online side quests, story missions, and Ultra-Evolve quests. Don’t worry about spending too much time ranking up your Hero Rank in the campaign.Deaging Fruits will add training points to your monsters. Monsters with more stars are generally better and will require more than 60 points to fully train. Most monsters start with 60 points to spend. Eventually your cap will reach 99 points. You will get more training points as you progress through the game. You can also watch my YouTube videos for an introduction to Neo Monsters at the Lunar Nebula LLC Gaming channel. I’m currently Hero Rank 38 in the game and facing down the Grand Four. You can find the game by typing in a variation of the words “Neo Monsters”. I’m going to list some starting tips for new players to the game, Neo Monsters.
